Simple Weight Loss Tea Recipe: Ginger Lemon Tea

Ingredients:

  1. 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  2. 1 lemon
  3. 2 cups of water
  4. 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Peel and slice the fresh ginger into thin pieces.
    • Cut the lemon in half. Squeeze the juice from one half and slice the other half into thin rounds.
  2. Boil the Water:
    • In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  3. Add the Ginger:
    • Once the water is boiling, add the sliced ginger to the pot.
    • Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. This allows the ginger to infuse the water with its beneficial properties.
  4. Add Lemon:
    • After 10 minutes, remove the pot from heat.
    • Add the lemon juice and lemon slices to the ginger tea.
  5. Sweeten (Optional):
    • If you prefer a slightly sweeter tea, stir in 1 teaspoon of honey.
  6. Serve:
    • Pour the tea into a cup, straining out the ginger slices if desired.
    • Enjoy your warm, soothing, and detoxifying ginger lemon tea!
